Job Description:
We are seeking an experience Maintenance Technician looking to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will have a proven track record in a Residential Property Management position and will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor The Maintenance Technician will utilize their hands-on knowledge of HVAC and other technical and mechanical areas and will be directly responsible for the following: Prepare vacant units; Perform repairs/general maintenance & Perform grounds maintenance ; Handle work order requests in a timely and efficient manner; Work weekends if needed ; Make Readies; Electrical Experience; Be on-call if necessary for any afterhours emergencies; Assume the duties of the Maintenance Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor when necessary Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, service-oriented individual with demonstrated ability to manage multiple operational matters efficiently and with accuracy in order to keep our property in top-notch condition. Requirements include; At least 3 years of maintenance experience preferably in the Residential Property Management (apartment rental) industry; A solid knowledge of building systems — HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical, carpentry as well as drywall, painting, buffing and waxing & HVAC certification REQUIRED ; Use of power tools; Ability to self-manage and prioritize; Ability to problem solve & Strong written and oral communication skills &Bilingual capability a plus; sufficient to understand and to make one’s self understood to all Spanish speaking individuals; On call and overtime, including weekends, are required.
